If you excel at Personal Lines insurance in the Private Client Space and you live in Western WA, my client wants to talk to you.

My client is a growing independent insurance brokerage.  This new Hybrid role is a combination of Personal Lines Account Management and Private Client Producer.  You will be assigned accounts that are greater than $5000 in premium and these accounts will be from several different offices.  You will be the Subject Matter Expert tasked with making sure there are no gaps in coverage and ensuring that the Personal Risk Plan is sufficient for the insured’s needs.  You will handle the renewals and advise on risk strategy in video or in person meetings depending on client’s needs.

When necessary, you will re-market the account to obtain better pricing/terms, and you will also advise on adding additional coverage lines as their Estate needs change.  In order to write new business, you will also search out new referral partnerships with Wealth Managers, Small Business Consultants, and Accountants in an effort to drive new referrals into the agency, and you can cross sell with Commercial Insurance Producers to gain access to owners and other key managers in the account that may not have their Personal Lines with the agency yet.

You can work from home, however, there will be some travel required. Many of the HNW clients reside on Bainbridge Island, so expect to travel there 3 to 7 days/month.  Other locations are located in the South Sound area.  The agency uses EPIC for agency management software.

Compensation will consist of a good base salary of $75K or more DOE, plus lucrative commission plan on new business.  Full benefits are provided along with a good retirement plan.

To be considered for this role, you must have a WA P & C license and have agency experience working with High Net Worth clients and markets (Chubb/Ace, Pure, Encompass, AIG Private Client), and you should be very proficient with reading insurance contracts and advising on complex coverage.  You also need to be comfortable with the nuts/bolts of account management.

Note: You must live in Western WA, but you are allowed to work from home provided you can travel to Bainbridge Island or other offices as needed during the month.
