This is a great role for a P & C licensed insurance CSR with a couple of years of insurance agency experience who wants to grow into a Personal Lines Account manager role and work from home! My client is a P & C agency in a rural area of Oregon.  They have great reviews from customers, and they are a fun group to work with. They want to hire a P & C licensed personal lines Customer Service Rep who can support their Account Managers with daily service task on current accounts.  You will be on the phone or email in this role and will be the insured's first phone contact with the goal of routing the call to the appropriate Account Manager or handling the service task such as changing out a vehicle or handling a cert or billing issue.  You will also have the opportunity to earn 50% of the agency’s commissions on 1st year or any completely new business you write from personal referrals. There is a virtual assistant who handles non-licensed tasks to help with overall agency workload. The goal of this role is to train you up from a CSR into an Account Manager role as soon as you are ready to take on the challenge. This is an excellent opportunitiy to make the jump from direct writer to independent agency! The agency is on EZlynx and uses an automation system to help streamline renewal communications.  They will provide all IT needed to do the job and will provide training on internal agency management systems. You will be working with preferred package Carriers such as Safeco, Progressive, and Travelers.  You will work from home with Mon to Fri 8:30 am to 5 pm PST. The agency pays 100% of your Providence Medical Insurance premium and provides an IRA with 3% match. Candidates need to have an active P & C insurance license, a distraction free dedicated home office with reliable upload/down speed, and at least 2 years of insurance agency CSR Personal Lines experience at either a direct writer or independent agency. The agency client prefers candidates who live in the Pacific Northwest, OR, WA, or ID to make it easy to work with the existing West Coast team which is a mix of office and remote employees. Employee Benefits Account Manager: Small Group-Oregon Market

If you have your Life & Health insurance license and at least 2 years of insurance agency small group employee benefits account manager experience with groups in Oregon, this new work from home role could be an excellent fit. My client is a growing national insurance brokerage.  This Employee Benefits Account Manager is part of their Small Business Unit.  You will be responsible for 80 groups that range from 2 to 50 lives with a focus on account retention.  The groups are in Oregon. You will use Wired Quote and BenefitPoint for renewals as well as Excel.  You will have lots of autonomy and will handle the renewal from start to finish including the online enrollment meetings.  During Q4, you will also have admin help for ID cards, packets etc. Most of the groups are written with small group carriers, although there are some Association groups.  Employee Navigator is used with some of the larger SBU clients. The company will ship you all IT needed for the job.  They offer base salary of $68,000 to $70,000 plus year-end bonus based on company metrics, and a rich benefits package. You will be a full cycle Account Manager with responsibilities for yearly renewal and account service during the year as needed. Account Management
  • Supports in enrollment, benchmarking, financial and utilization data based on financial review standards.
  • Maintains all client information in accordance with both company procedures and HIPAA regulations. Follows company procedures in order to achieve positive audit results.
  • Ensures accuracy of account information for both new and renewal policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy. Works with carrier to ensure accuracy of client information and forms. Communicates any outstanding or impactful topics from the carrier back to the client.
  • Oversees installation of the group on renewal. Finalizes enrollment with carrier and reports the results to team members.
  • Support maintenance of agency management system, communication system, and other tools.
  • Collects forms/data/schedules for regulatory compliance.
Candidates MUST have at least 2 years of Oregon small group account manager experience and an OR Life and Health license.  Preference is for candidates who live in Oregon or Southern WA, but will consider others that may have worked in OR previously but now live in another state. This is a full time Mon to Fri in-office role with flexible start times and a great benefits package. After 6 months, hybrid scheduling will be available. The book has 577 policies with just under $1M in premium and is growing.  You will be supporting one producer. The agency uses AMS360.

You will handle customer service requests and renewals, determine all impacts/needs associated with the request, and consider any impacts to other coverages or policies.  You will also identify any coverage gaps associated with a customer’s request and educate the customer on ways to mitigate their risk.  Your goal is to maximize customer retention.

You will document all contacts, maintain customer records and files, and update customer information as appropriate for accuracy. You will maintain effective and timely follow-up systems and verify transactions with customers.  You will keep abreast of personal lines products, carriers, and agency and carrier rules to maximize service to your customers.  Communication is done primarily over the phone and email. The agency believes in sharing the profits and offers a salary of $63,000 to $65,000 with quarterly bonuses with an excellent benefits package, PTO, and matching 401K.  They also provide career development and pay for all insurance designations.  Parking is free. To be considered for this role, you need:
  • P & C WA license and ability to work daily in the Auburn office Mon to Fri
