If you live in WA, OR, ID, or Northern CA, have your P & C insurance license, and want to take your insurance career to the next level to start learning how to manage commercial lines accounts, this new support role is for you. My client is a regional Pacific Northwest insurance brokerage. Due to growth, they are adding a new Commercial Lines Associate to their service team. This junior role is designed to teach you how to support Senior Account Managers with account renewal and daily service tasks. It is a career track role which will give you the tools and training to grow into a Commercial Lines Account Manager in a 2-to-3-year training program. This is a non-selling role requiring strong computer skills and detail orientation and the ability to easily move from task to task throughout the day. The role allows you to build on the P & C training you already have in an insurance agency and to learn how to manage a commercial book. Hours are Mon to Fri 8:30 to 4:30 pm PST. (37.5 hour work week). The company offers excellent benefits, all IT needed to do the job, paid continuing education and excellent mentorship. Key job duties: The Commercial Lines Associate Account Manager is a primary support role for the client service team. You will support the Account Manager and Account Executive/Producer by handling delegated day to day service tasks.
  • Support the client service team as requested by handling the day to day delegated tasks in a timely manner per department procedures. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients and carrier partners. Maintain and service client files: Invoice premium bearing transactions.
  • Track and help resolve late payment/cancellation/reinstatement issues.
  • Prepare renewal application booklets, request loss runs and provide to service team for delivery to client.
  • Prepare account summaries as assigned.
  • Prepare and process cancellations when assigned per agency procedures.
  • Prepare and process all certificate requests, evidence of property requests, and auto id card requests as required within 24 hours of request per agency procedures.
  • Prepare and process all rush certificate requests within 2 hours of request per agency procedures.
  • Oversee issuance of renewal certificates ensuring delivery to all required parties.
  • Update client renewal data with various government agencies as required.
  • Request updates on open claims from carrier and provide detail to client service terms to assist in claims management issues.
  • Maintain suspense items in a timely manner.
Candidates must have a P & C license, at least 2 years of personal lines agency experience, or commercial assistant experience in an insurance agency setting. Commercial Lines Account Manager: Small to Mid-Sized Accounts—Will train on middle market coverages

This is a great role for an Everett, WA area P & C licensed Commercial Lines Account Manager who wants to move more into the middle market space and work for a growing brokerage learning under a great mentor Manager in a flexible hybrid 1-2 days in the office work schedule. My client is a National Insurance Brokerage. Due to growth, they want to hire another Commercial Lines account manager that they can grow into a middle market pro. You will support 4 to 5 Producers on a $250K revenue generalist middle market book with a mix of generalist accounts including contractors and commercial property LRO. As long as you know how to do small account renewals, they will train you on the more complex middle market accounts so that you can grow into a full desk. You will have an assistant to help with processing renewals, as well as Patra used for endorsements, certificates, and policy checks. The agency uses AMS360, and all processes are clearly outlined.

Commercial Lines Account Executive: Senior Living Vertical—Remote West Coast Hours

If you are an experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive with experience being the quarterback for the team handling large multi-state Senior Living Accounts, and you want to work remote, this new role is for you! My client is a national growing insurance brokerage. You will work on a book of large mostly California senior living operators and some that are located out of state primarily in the West. You can live in CST or MST time zones, but you will be working primarily West Coast core hours. You will be leading insurance strategy and risk management meetings with insureds and managing your team of account managers for large complex Senior Living accounts:
  • Identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions to complex problems, conclusions, or approaches to problems and what options may be most appropriate to meet a prospect’s needs.
  • Identify centers of influence that can assist with developing leads or with making inroads to potential clients.
  • Develop relationships and perform analysis with prospective clients to understand their organization, key decision makers, and business needs.
  • Meet sales goals and retain relationships with key stakeholders after prospects become clients with an eye toward cross-sell and round-out opportunities.
  • Understand principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, and sales techniques.
  • Select or assist customers in selecting products based on customer needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations.
