My client is a National independent brokerage located in Beaverton, OR. They are looking for their next rising star.
You will work on a book of personal lines and small business commercial lines accounts using the AMS360 agency software system. Each team has 2-3 members with a strong Team leader who is dedicated to helping you learn the nuances of the accounts. You will start out working on pre-renewal documentation and processing daily service requests to allow you to become familiar with each customer’s risk program.
As your knowledge grows, you will move into a more client facing activities including handling the entire renewal and re-marketing if needed, and negotiating with underwriters to obtain the best coverage program. The Commercial lines teams support 7 Producers, so you have the opportunity to work with a wide range of companies and coverages. Candidates need to have an OR P & C license, some insurance agency experience (direct writer is fine) with a basic understanding of general liability and ideally some exposure to small commercial lines policies. My client is an independent insurance brokerage in the Puget Sound area. They have recently hired new Producers and acquired a new agency, and they need to hire a new AE with strong commercial insurance coverage and Carrier knowledge who can help them market the new risks. These will be accounts with $25,000 or more in premium. You will be working closely with the CL Producer team to identify competitive Carrier markets and put together submissions for new business. When needed, you will go out to meet with prospective insureds as part of the new business process. You will quarterback the onboarding of the new insured and will introduce their Account Manager team who will handle the day-to-day service tasks. You will have an ongoing responsibility to lead client relationship for contract analysis, coverage, and exposure analysis, directing endorsement activity, problem-solving, directing renewal management, directing preparation of quotes/proposals, and directing binding of coverage.
This is a client-facing role which allows you to be involved with peer review, mentoring junior staff, and providing key marketing support to the Commercial Producer Team. This is a salaried role with year end bonus. There will be occasional travel in the WA and OR areas with Producers as needed to support new business goals. You will also work closely with Carriers and Underwriters to stay abreast of appetites and new risk programs.

My client is a regional Pacific Northwest insurance brokerage. Due to growth, they are adding a new Commercial Lines Associate to their service team. This junior role is designed to teach you how to support Senior Account Managers with account renewal and daily service tasks. It is a career track role which will give you the tools and training to grow into a Commercial Lines Account Manager in a 2-to-3-year training program. This is a non-selling role requiring strong computer skills and detail orientation and the ability to easily move from task to task throughout the day. The role allows you to build on the P & C training you already have in an insurance agency and to learn how to manage a commercial book. Hours are Mon to Fri 8:30 to 4:30 pm PST. (37.5 hour work week).

Key job duties:
The Commercial Lines Associate Account Manager is a primary support role for the client service team. You will support the Account Manager and Account Executive/Producer by handling delegated day to day service tasks.
- Support the client service team as requested by handling the day to day delegated tasks in a timely manner per department procedures. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients and carrier partners. Maintain and service client files: Invoice premium bearing transactions.
- Track and help resolve late payment/cancellation/reinstatement issues.
- Prepare renewal application booklets, request loss runs and provide to service team for delivery to client.
- Prepare account summaries as assigned.
- Prepare and process cancellations when assigned per agency procedures.
- Prepare and process all certificate requests, evidence of property requests, and auto id card requests as required within 24 hours of request per agency procedures.
- Prepare and process all rush certificate requests within 2 hours of request per agency procedures.
- Oversee issuance of renewal certificates ensuring delivery to all required parties.
- Update client renewal data with various government agencies as required.
- Request updates on open claims from carrier and provide detail to client service terms to assist in claims management issues.
- Maintain suspense items in a timely manner.
Candidates must have a P & C license, at least 2 years of personal lines agency experience, or commercial assistant experience in an insurance agency setting. You will support 4 to 5 Producers on a $250K revenue generalist middle market book with a mix of generalist accounts including contractors and commercial property LRO. If you are an experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive with experience being the quarterback for the team handling large multi-state Senior Living Accounts, and you want to work remote, this new role is for you!
My client is a national growing insurance brokerage. You will work on a book of large mostly California senior living operators and some that are located out of state primarily in the West. You can live in CST or MST time zones, but you will be working primarily West Coast core hours.
You will be leading insurance strategy and risk management meetings with insureds and managing your team of account managers for large complex Senior Living accounts:
- Identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions to complex problems, conclusions, or approaches to problems and what options may be most appropriate to meet a prospect’s needs.
- Identify centers of influence that can assist with developing leads or with making inroads to potential clients.
