My client is a National Insurance Brokerage who excels in the Senior Living market vertical. This new team role will be based out of their Eugene, OR office and is hybrid 1-2 days/week depending on your distance to the office. They will train on all Senior Living Carriers and coverages. The Team Lead is a terrific mentor who loves to impart her knowledge to junior staff. A typical account will be a senior living operator with 3 to 5 locations ranging from aging in place to full time memory care. The agency uses EPIC. Key job aspects:
- Develops complete client information and applications for renewal business under the direction of the Producer, Senior Account Executive, or Account Executive. Develops the proposal for review with Producers.
- Processes change requests/endorsements, binders, certificates, account summaries, proposals, policies, lost policy releases, audit, and account balance status when requested. Ensures that these items are given to the client in a timely manner.
- Initiates appropriate correspondence with carriers and clients. Responds to requests from clients and insurance companies.
- Maintains files with proper records according to company procedures.
- Assists in the development of strong business relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel.
- Ensures accuracy of account information for renewal policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy in rating, coverage, signatures, and enters these transactions to generate billing invoices in a timely manner.
Candidates need to have 3+ years of experience as a licensed Commercial Account Manager with knowledge of layered property coverage. Real Estate or other Habitational Property coverage knowledge is needed for this role. Candidates must come from a retail independent brokerage setting, no direct writers please. Job requires an Oregon P & C license, and strong MS Office skills with Excel.

If you are an experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive with experience being the quarterback for the team handling large multi-state Senior Living Accounts, and you want to work remote, this new role is for you!
My client is a national growing insurance brokerage. You will work on a book of large mostly California senior living operators and some that are located out of state primarily in the West. You can live in CST or MST time zones, but you will be working primarily West Coast core hours.
You will be leading insurance strategy and risk management meetings with insureds and managing your team of account managers for large complex Senior Living accounts:
- Identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions to complex problems, conclusions, or approaches to problems and what options may be most appropriate to meet a prospect’s needs.
- Identify centers of influence that can assist with developing leads or with making inroads to potential clients.
- Develop relationships and perform analysis with prospective clients to understand their organization, key decision makers, and business needs.
- Meet sales goals and retain relationships with key stakeholders after prospects become clients with an eye toward cross-sell and round-out opportunities.
- Understand principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, and sales techniques.
- Select or assist customers in selecting products based on customer needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations.
