They are looking for their next rising star. You will work on a book of Personal lines and small business commercial Lines accounts using the AMS360 agency software system. Each team has 2-3 members with a strong Team leader who is dedicated to helping you learn the nuances of the accounts. You will start out working on pre-renewal documentation and processing daily service requests to allow you to become familiar with each customer’s risk program. As your knowledge grows, you will move into a more client facing activities including handling the entire renewal and re-marketing if needed, and negotiating with underwriters to obtain the best coverage program. The Commercial lines teams support 7 Producers, so you have the opportunity to work with a wide range of companies and coverages. This is a great career building opportunity with fun team that loves working together in the office every day. My client is an insurance agency in Fife, WA that specializes in Employee Benefits. (The medical, dental, vision insurance your company offers you as an employee). This role is an admin/office job. There is no selling involved. You will work with different departments to help with various admin projects and other tasks depending on the time of the year. In the months of Sept to Dec, you will be working with the Open Enrollment team to help them make new benefits packets that will be distributed to the insured’s employees. Once open enrollment is over, you will be working with the Implementation team to update SalesForce (their CRM system), conduct information audits, and do data entry for the insured's new enrollments or employee terminations throughout the year. You will also provide admin support on projects when people are on vacation or have a heavier than normal workload. You don't need to be licensed to start in this position, but they will expect you to get your Life and Disability license during the first year so that you are able to grow into a more client-focused role as you learn more industry knowledge. The agency will pay for your licensing class and testing fees. It is a 40-hour class, and you must pass with a 75% score to get your license. This is a FT permanent W2 role that is 100% in-office. There are NO hybrid schedules. The team is a fun, tight-knit group that celebrates birthdays and other individual milestones and loves working together. The role lets you float through all of the departments so that you can learn the workflow and industry terminology to allow you to promote in the future. The company has a full benefits package and retirement plan and free parking. Hours are Mon to Fri 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Candidates must be able to obtain a WA State insurance license, (requires a background check), live a commutable distance from Fife, have strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills and be very dependable and organized.
