This is a great role for a P & C licensed insurance CSR with a couple of years of insurance agency experience who wants to grow into a Personal Lines Account manager role and work from home!
My client is a P & C agency in a rural area of Oregon. They have great reviews from customers, and they are a fun group to work with.
They want to hire a P & C licensed personal lines Customer Service Rep who can support their Account Managers with daily service task on current accounts. You will be on the phone or email in this role and will be the insured’s first phone contact with the goal of routing the call to the appropriate Account Manager or handling the service task such as changing out a vehicle or handling a cert or billing issue. You will also have the opportunity to earn 50% of the agency’s commissions on 1st year or any completely new business you write from personal referrals. There is a virtual assistant who handles non-licensed tasks to help with overall agency workload.
The goal of this role is to train you up from a CSR into an Account Manager role as soon as you are ready to take on the challenge. This is an excellent opportunitiy to make the jump from direct writer to independent agency!
The agency is on EZlynx and uses an automation system to help streamline renewal communications. They will provide all IT needed to do the job and will provide training on internal agency management systems.
You will be working with preferred package Carriers such as Safeco, Progressive, and Travelers. You will work from home with Mon to Fri 8:30 am to 5 pm PST.
The agency pays 100% of your Providence Medical Insurance premium and provides an IRA with 3% match.
Candidates need to have an active P & C insurance license, a distraction free dedicated home office with reliable upload/down speed, and at least 2 years of insurance agency CSR Personal Lines experience at either a direct writer or independent agency. The agency client prefers candidates who live in the Pacific Northwest, OR, WA, or ID to make it easy to work with the existing West Coast team which is a mix of office and remote employees.

My client is one of the top-rated insurance agencies in Washington. They are adding a new licensed inside sales rep to their well-established award-winning team in Woodinville, WA. You will be a salaried W2 full time employee of the agency. You will be in a trusted advisor inside sales role. The agency has over 10,000 households and you will be working with existing customers to gain referrals and will quote on Personal Lines new business leads as well as build out your own personal sales network. Your goal is to understand the client’s insurance needs, help them understand policy coverage options, evaluate any existing coverage gaps, and suggest a solid overall risk strategy that fits their needs and budget. You will be focused on new business sales, responding to warm leads, and using your own natural network to gain more referrals. Goal is 50 apps/month, the two current sales rep are averaging 75 apps/month and are exceeding W2 income of $100,000 per year.
They offer a guaranteed $50,000 salary, 5 weeks of PTO that accrues weekly, 100% paid medical/dental/vision plan for the employee, and retirement plan with 10% profit sharing. This is a Mon to Fri 8:30 to 5 pm in-office role with no weekend requirements. Parking is free.
Candidates need to have at least 1 year of successful insurance agency sales experience and a WA P & C license; L & D is a plus but not required initially. The agency wants to start someone ASAP.
