My client is well-established independent Portland area insurance brokerage. They are looking for a new Commercial Lines Account Manager. This role requires generalist commercial coverage knowledge and experience working middle market renewals. Farm and Ag coverage knowledge is a huge plus.
You will be managing policy renewals from start to finish and will have help from assistants. The agency is on EPIC. This is a hybrid role with at least 1 day/week in office. The office is in Portland and will be relocating to a brand-new Beaverton location in early 2025. Parking is free.

This role requires generalist commercial coverage knowledge and experience working renewals with E & S Markets. Cannabis policy experience is a plus, but they will train on coverages/markets. The book is about $3 million in premium.
You will be managing cannabis policy renewals from start to finish working with established E & S Markets. Premium ranges from $500 to $20,000/account. No travel is needed for this role. My client is a well-established Kennewick, WA insurance brokerage. They recently joined forces with one of the fastest growing National Brokerages in the country and now need to hire a New Commercial Lines Account Manager. You will be part of their 6-person commercial lines account management team.
You will be managing an established book of small to mid-sized business accounts. Premium sizes range from $2500 to $50,000 and your book will be a varied mix of contractors, Lessors Risk, Habitational, Small business BOPs, Commercial Auto, and bonds. It is truly a soup to nuts desk requiring a solid commercial generalist. You will handle renewals, remarketing, and all daily service tasks as well as help any walk-in customers. The agency is on EPIC, and many accounts are placed with non-admitted markets.
Compensation includes salary plus bonus, a full benefits package, PTO, sick time, and paid continuing education. Hours are Mon to Thurs 8 am to 5 pm with one hour for lunch and Fridays 8 am to 4 pm allowing you to get a jump on your weekend. Candidates can work from home but must reside within a 2-hour radius from Kennewick, WA as there will be some client in-person meetings and onsite company meetings that you will need to attend.
You need to have worked in an insurance agency as a Commercial Lines Account Manager and have an active WA P & C license. Bilingual Spanish skills are a huge plus. Independent agency experience with EPIC is highly desirable. you must have experience working renewals with wholesalers.

This is a great role for a P & C licensed Commercial Lines Middle Market Account Manager who wants to work from home in Western WA with only occasional office travel.
My client is a National Insurance Brokerage. Due to growth, they want to hire another Middle Market Commercial Lines account manager. You will support 4 to 5 Producers on a generalist middle market book with about 80 clients and $550,000 in revenue. You will have full autonomy for your accounts and will be the main point of contact. You will have an assistant to help with processing renewals and other daily service requests. The agency uses AMS360 and all processes are clearly outlined.
The agency offers flexible work arrangements. You will be based out of either their Everett, Auburn, or University Place offices. You can work from home but will need to be available 1 to 2 times/month for occasional office staff meetings and may be requested to travel locally with a producer for key renewal meetings.

Key job responsibilities:
Collaborate with VP of Business Development (VPBD) to develop and maintain assigned retail client relationships.

Assist with developing and maintaining carrier relationships.
Candidates need to have previous retail or E & S or MGA experience as an inside broker or commercial lines account manager and have a good understanding of healthcare professional liability and claims made coverage. P & C license is required.
