If you are an experienced Senior Level Commercial Lines Account Manager with a knack for handling a fast-paced growing real estate book and you want the flexibility to work from home in the Pacific Northwest (WA, OR, or Western ID), this is the role for you!
My client is a national insurance brokerage. They are looking for an experienced Commercial Lines Real Estate Account Manager to support 2 very high producing Sales Executives who are bringing on a lot of new business BOR’s. You will handle a book of about $650,000 in revenue spread across 15 accounts. The book comprises large apartments, mixed use retail/condos, and buildings that are coming off from builder’s risk policies that require permanent placement. You will be supported by 2 Account Associates who will assist you with renewal prep and other daily service tasks. Sagitta, and MS Office are used extensively in this role.
You can work from your home office as long as you are located in WA, OR, or Western ID. No other states will be considered. You will communicate via video and instant messaging with your producers and coworkers. There is a weekly Tues morning team huddle to go over priorities and identify opportunities or account issues. You will have a lot of autonomy and independence in managing your book. If you get energized by new business and growth, then you’ll be a great fit for this role. While the majority of the work can be done from home, there will be times that you will need to attend office meetings in person during the year.

Key job responsibilities include:
Prepare quality submissions to carriers on behalf of client or prospect
Review and analyze quotations received from carriers and negotiate pricing/terms
Prepare professional and accurate proposals for presentation to clients
Prepare professional and accurate summaries for existing clients and do premium allocations using Excel
Review endorsements for accuracy
Process premium audits and assist client in event of a dispute
Perform contract review with respect to insurance requirements
Prepare and deliver timely binders and invoices upon binding of coverage
Secure premium financing when needed
Review newly issued policies for accuracy before delivery to clients
Candidates need to have 5 years of Commercial Lines Account Manager experience in an insurance brokerage setting, must live in WA, OR, or Western ID, and have strong technical coverage knowledge with real estate accounts that have revenue of $50,000 or more.
