My client is an independent insurance agency located in Washington State that is experiencing rapid growth. They are looking to add another P & C licensed Personal Lines Account Manager who knows independent Carrier markets who can help with daily servicing activities such as adding vehicles, making changes to policies, answering phones, taking payments, and quoting on company-provided leads. You will not be required to get the leads or to cold call.

The agency uses AMS360.  Most of the clients in this book of business are in WA state. You will be servicing a book with about 1-1.5 Million in premium.  You will be expected to have a distraction free dedicated home office and you will work Mon to Fri 8:30 to 5 pm Pacific time, 40 hours/week.  All IT will be shipped to you. You will work 100% remotely with no company office visits. You will work independently with only regularly scheduled video team meetings.

Compensation will be $26/hour with a KPI (Key performance Indicators) quarterly bonus opportunity for new business and cross-sales. Yearly bonus opportunity is expected to be between $2000 and $6000 depending on performance to KPI’s.  Bonus is paid quarterly. You are also eligible for a raise each quarter based on meeting your KPI’s. You can also earn commission on new business leads. There are periodic contests throughout the year where you can earn extra money, and there is also a bonus for the agency hitting its quarterly goal. Typical agency goal quarterly bonuses have been in the $500 to $750 range over the last few years. Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits are provided with the company covering 100% of the premium. There are 10 days of paid vacation prorated from your start date, 9 paid holidays, and 7 sick days.

Background required: P & C license and a minimum of 3 years of recent independent insurance agency experience. Knowledge of Safeco and other preferred market carriers and current market appetites are required. AMS360 is strongly preferred.  The client strongly prefers to hire a WA State P & C licensed agent. If you live outside of WA State, you will need to get a WA Non-Resident P & C license.  No out of country or direct writer candidates will be considered for this role.
