My client is a growing independent insurance agency with multiple locations in WA state. They are looking to add a new Personal Lines Account Manager in their Auburn, WA office. This is the same position that the Personal Lines Department Manager started in 12 years ago. She’s an excellent mentor and trainer. This is an agency you can grow with and depend on!
This is a full time Mon to Fri in-office role with flexible start times and a great benefits package. After 6 months, hybrid scheduling will be available. The book has 577 policies with just under $1M in premium and is growing. You will be supporting one producer. The agency uses AMS360.
You will handle customer service requests and renewals, determine all impacts/needs associated with the request, and consider any impacts to other coverages or policies. You will also identify any coverage gaps associated with a customer’s request and educate the customer on ways to mitigate their risk. Your goal is to maximize customer retention.
You will document all contacts, maintain customer records and files, and update customer information as appropriate for accuracy. You will maintain effective and timely follow-up systems and verify transactions with customers. You will keep abreast of personal lines products, carriers, and agency and carrier rules to maximize service to your customers. Communication is done primarily over the phone and email.
The agency believes in sharing the profits and offers a salary of $63,000 to $65,000 with quarterly bonuses with an excellent benefits package, PTO, and matching 401K. They also provide career development and pay for all insurance designations. Parking is free.
To be considered for this role, you need:
- P & C WA license and ability to work daily in the Auburn office Mon to Fri
- 2+ years of Personal Lines Agency experience; direct writer/captive is okay
- Excellent communication skills over phone and email
