My client is a 2nd generation well-established WA State insurance brokerage with multiple locations throughout the Puget Sound.  As the Personal Lines Department Team Leader, you will be part of the Executive Leadership Team and will have 12 direct reports consisting of 4 Team Leaders and their Personal Lines Account Managers.

You will not have an assigned book of business.  You will focus your time on hiring, training, and staff development.  You will work with Carriers to achieve mutual growth goals, and you will be the “go to” Subject Matter Expert for complex coverage analysis and risk management strategies.

Salary for this role is $125,000 plus a 6% bonus based on individual and department performance.  This is a work from home role unless you wish to base yourself out of one of the Puget Sound Offices.  You will be required to visit all of the agency locations periodically as needed to promote training, development, and department goals.  All travel and hotel expenses will be covered.

Candidates must have recent independent insurance agency Personal Lines leadership experience with in-depth knowledge of Preferred Carrier Markets and appetites as well as experience leading a team of personal lines service staff.  You must reside in Western WA to facilitate travel to local offices as well as attend periodic Leadership meetings.
