If you have some Commercial Lines insurance agency experience and you want to work in Kent, WA, this new Commercial Insurance Account Manager role is for you.
My client is a well-established independent insurance agency located in Kent, WA. The agency is growing, and he wants to add a new team member to his business insurance division. Depending on your insurance knowledge going in, you will work with the Agency Owner and other team staff to learn the agency management computer system and internal procedures. You will be taking over an existing book of Commercial clients. The book is 70% commercial auto and 30% “Main Street” business with premiums below $50,000. You will be handling your client’s daily service needs as well as quoting new business. You will have lots of autonomy and will be the main point of contact with your clients.
The role is in-office Mon to Fri. Compensation includes salary of $60,000 to $65,000, performance bonus, full benefits package, vacation, and a nice office culture. The position is targeted for first year of $70,000 to $75,000 (includes bonus).

The agency will pay for your ongoing continuing education classes as well as insurance certifications. Candidates need to have a WA P & C license and at least 1 year of Commercial Lines insurance agency experience, have fast accurate computer data entry skills, a great attitude, and solid work ethic. You need to know how to process a small business renewal start to finish.
