If you have your P & C license, some agency experience either in Personal Lines or Commercial Lines support, my client’s Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager role is for you! This role is open due to promotion!

My client is a National independent insurance brokerage located in Beaverton, OR. They have experienced 30% growth during COVID and now need to hire more team members.  They are promoting the person who was in this role to a Commercial Account Manager after only 1 year in the job!

You will work on a book of small Commercial Lines accounts with premiums ranging from $500 to $10,000 and will provide administrative support on a specialty program for pollution liability.  You will also handle a small book of Personal Lines Accounts.  This position is considered the starter role for their large Commercial Lines team. It gives you the opportunity to broaden your general insurance coverage knowledge, become proficient on the agency AMS360 software, and work on daily service requests such as certs and endorsements.

As your knowledge grows, you will move into a handling more complex accounts where you can take on more client facing activities including handling renewals and placing new business on larger Commercial accounts. Candidates need to have an OR P & C license, some insurance agency experience either Personal lines or Commercial lines, (direct writer is fine), strong detail orientation, proficiency in Word and Excel, and the ability to multi-task and work with autonomy.
