If you are a P & C Licensed Commercial Lines Account Manager who speaks fluent Russian or Ukrainian, and you live in the Vancouver, WA to Portland, OR area, this new role is for you.
My client is a well-established insurance brokerage with specialties in Trucking, Warehousing, Manufacturing, Construction, and related industries. Due to growth, they are looking for a Russian or Ukrainian speaking Commercial Lines Account Manager to work on a book of 1-to-10-unit trucking accounts. You will be the lead account manager on this book and will handle both new business placement as well as renewals.
The company offers great benefits, lots of autonomy, and a really great work/life culture. You will not be expected to work weekends or super long hours. This is an office role with Mon to Fri hours and flexible start times. Parking is free. Note: office moves to the Vancouver, WA area in Feb 2023.
You will do renewals and your own marketing aided by Assistants who will help you pull all docs for marketing and will prepare the final paperwork for your peer review.
Key Account Manager duties:
- Meets directly with trucking clients via phone, email, or in person. Negotiates and sells lines of insurance to clients. Designs insurance and risk management plans for clients as assigned and directed by Agency management. Provides clients with full exposure analysis and reviews methods of handling risks.
- Leads accounts through the renewal process per department procedures. Markets accounts to insurance carriers and wholesalers as needed.
- Maintains records according to Agency standards, ensures that procedures are properly followed, and that information is properly document and readily accessible.
- Assists in the development of strong personal relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel. Assists Agency in developing carrier relationships by becoming familiar with and executing strategies developed for satisfying carrier goals and objectives.
- Reviews insurance and indemnification parts of contracts.
- Processes or oversees process of change-request/endorsements, binders, certificates, account summaries, proposals, policies, lost policy releases, audits, and account balance status as needed.
- Maintains follow-up and suspense on outstanding orders, correspondence, audits, reports, reporting form coverage, claims, renewal expirations and follows up promptly on these items.
- Handles prompt review of all premium audits recognizing that the Agency must process audits timely.
- Processes and follows up on requests involving carriers or clients to ensure accurate and timely resolution.
- Manages the accounts receivable on the book of business to assure timely collection of premiums. Reconciles accounting discrepancies. Follow up on aged trial balances according to company procedures.
Candidates need to speak Russian or Ukrainian, have a P & C license, and have generalist coverage knowledge across all lines. Bonus if you already know Commercial Trucking coverage. Insurance certifications are a huge plus.
