If you have your P & C license and live in either King, Island, or Pierce County and you want to continue to build on your Personal Lines Account Manager skills, this junior Account Manager role is for you!

My client is a National Insurance Brokerage that has won one of the Best Places to Work in WA State three years in a row!  You will be based out of either their Tacoma or Poulsbo, WA office.  After in-office training/onboarding, you can work either a hybrid or fully remote schedule provided you have a distraction-free dedicated home office space with high-speed internet and can come into the office for special training or company meetings.

You will be part of the six-person Personal Lines Team.  Depending on your independent Markets coverage knowledge at the time of hire, you will either work in a junior role supporting Senior Account Managers, or you will be assigned your own book of accounts.  This entire team supports one very experienced and well-respected WA Producer.  The agency uses AMS360 and ImageRight.

This is a permanent, salaried, Mon to Fri service role, however, you will be paid 25% of the 1st year’s agency commission on any self-produced business.

Key job aspects include:

  • Make coverage recommendations to clients and cross-sell and upsell when necessary
  • Prepare and lead renewal meetings based on client needs
  • Perform all clerical duties related to client support
  • Provide support to the Sales team
  • Foster and seek relationships with teammates across all levels of the company
  • Ensure compliance with government agencies and corporate policies and procedures
  • Attend training sessions, courses, etc. to maintain up-to-date skills
