My client owns a well-branded insurance agency located in Bothell, WA.  She wants to hire a new team member that she can train her way.  She started in this same entry level role 7 years ago and now she has her own agency!

This is an in-office Mon to Fri 9 am to 5 pm role with salary, benefits, vacation, commission plan, and 401K match.

Here’s how the paid training program works:

Week one: You will complete the 40-hour online State P & C licensing class in the office.

Week two: you will study and take the test; you get 2 tries to pass the test.

Once licensed: You will start in-house training to learn the ABCs of personal lines insurance.  You will learn how to work with the agency computer system, service a policy, quote new policies, do policy reviews, and follow up on internet and referral leads.  You will be working with home, auto, RV, boat, and Motorcycle policies.  You will now be eligible to receive monthly commissions in addition to your base salary based on the number of policy lines sold and the premium sold.  You should see about $500 to $1000 each month in commissions depending on your performance.

This is a rare opportunity to learn the insurance business without having to have prior insurance experience or having to pay for your own licensing.  First year licensed Team members typically earn $50,000 to $60,000 based on meeting goals.

Candidates should be local with a reasonable commute to the Bothell office, have a good work ethic, sales ability, good phone and computer skills, and a desire to start their insurance career. You must be able to pass a background check (no DUI’s).
