My client is a growing multi-location insurance agency. In this role, you will work out of their Beaverton location. You will work as a licensed inside insurance agent. You will have access to over 100 different Carriers allowing you to tailor a policy package customized for the unique financial needs of all customers.  You will be able to sell auto, home, life, toys, umbrella, rental, and medical benefits. The agency is very progressive combining the best of computer and online technology and face to face customer service to make the insurance buying experience easy and fun.

You will act as an “insurance educator”, not a pushy salesperson.  Your goal is to help take the mystery out of buying insurance and provide a concierge buying experience. You will work with in-person customers, and you will also respond to online quote requests. The agency has a powerful technology platform to make it easy for a prospective buyer to provide their information so you can help them pick the right policy mix.

This is a full-time position that pays a salary of $50,000 to $60,000 depending on insurance experience, with the opportunity to earn a monthly bonus that can range from $500 to $3500 depending on performance. Additional perks include a full benefits package and matching 401K.  There are also trips that you can earn, and the company strives to have a good work/life balance with great team culture, opportunities for growth, and flexible scheduling. The location hours are Mon to Sat 9 am to 6 pm, and Sun 9 am to 5 pm to provide maximum flexibility for both customers and team members. You do not have to work weekends in this role unless you want to.  Weekend workers only work 36 hours, but are paid for 40 hours!

To be considered for this role, you need to have your Oregon P & C license, and some inside customer service/sales experience.  Training will be in-house and there are lots of future opportunities for career growth and development and leadership roles as the agency expands to add more locations.
