My client is an employee benefits insurance agency that specializes in Association Health Plans designed for small to medium sized groups. You will be their Marketing Representative and “front line” champion for their products. You will also be the liaison for the Sales Team and other Healthcare Partners.
You will be calling on insurance agency producers to build on existing relationships, introduce new products and enhancements, conduct training classes for sales/service staff either in person or through online training, attend trade shows and other networking events, and build new client relationships through a variety of business development activities. You will also create PowerPoint communications as needed to support your marketing efforts.
You will have a flexible work schedule that will include time in their downtown Seattle office as well as out in the field conducting Agency visits in WA and in California. Travel outside of the Puget Sound is expected to be about 15% averaging 2 to 3 days/week for a marketing trip.
This is a salaried role with year-end bonus. You will not have a sales quota in this role. The benefits package is very comprehensive and includes paid expenses for travel. The Agency has a very strong team culture and lots of opportunity for career growth and development.
Experience in Employee Benefits or Insurance Product Marketing is a huge plus, but not required. To be considered for this role candidates must have a track record in field sales/marketing, strong business development and client facing skills, have the ability to travel, and be an effective communicator using online training platforms. A 4 year business degree is strongly preferred along with proficiency in MS Office Products.
