My client is one of the top-rated insurance agencies in Washington, They are adding 2 new inside sales reps to their award winning team in Woodinville, WA. You will be a salaried W2 full time employee of the agency. They offer a guaranteed salary, an unheard of 4 weeks of PTO that accrues weekly, 100% paid medical/dental plan for the employee, a Gold’s Gym membership, and most importantly, the client will pay for your insurance licensing and training!
Once you are licensed, you will go through their in-house training program to learn the office computer systems, underwriting/rating software, how to amend a current policy, add additional insureds, do billing, and write new policies. Once you are proficient in personal lines coverages with auto, home, RV, boats, motorcycles, and rental policies, then you will start working on your Life & Disability licenses so that you can advise customers on these unique coverages.
As your insurance knowledge and skills advance, you will be able to see a steady monthly commission increase as you meet your sales goals. First year income at goal will be in the $50K to $60K range.
Soft skills needed are a long-term commitment to the area, desire to be a trusted agent and not just a slick sales person, great team spirit, positive attitude, desire to help the customer, and ability to educate the customer and suggest products and coverages that might be missing from their insurance portfolio.
Candidates need to be able to pass a criminal background check and have no DUI’s or felonies. Work experience in retail, sales, or other phone/email based customer service are great backgrounds for insurance work. No job hoppers please. Recent grads with strong desire to begin an insurance career are encouraged to apply!
