My client is a well-established full service insurance agency with strong Portland, OR roots. They are looking for a Manager of their Commercial Lines Service Department. This is a “Player/Coach” role involving agency operations and service department work flow, training/development of new commercial lines service staff, as well as helping to further agency projects. You will manage all levels of commercial account management staff from Assistants to Account Executives (not including sales producers). You may also have a small book of key accounts that you will be involved with/manage from time to time depending on Producer’s needs and account complexity. You will also be involved with agency compliance and audits as needed to full fill best practices and other agency directives. You will be a key part of the Agency Management Team.
The company is located just outside of downtown Portland, has free parking and excellent benefits. This is an in-office Mon to Fri role.
Only candidates who have worked in an independent full service retail agency who have recent experience managing a team of Commercial Lines support staff will be considered for this role. An OR P & C license is required. TAM experience is greatly preferred.
