My client is a growing independent insurance agency located in Lynnwood, WA. They are looking for an experienced small business Commercial Accounts Manager who can work independently on a growing book of business. The book is a mix of Main Street type accounts, with some construction, and is a mix of direct bill and some agency bill. Knowledge of Liberty markets is key in this role. The position involves lots of phone and email communication with clients and preparation of proposals for renewal as well as placing new business. You will be supporting the outside commercial producers.
The book is about 1.1 Million in premium ($150,000 revenue) with most accounts under $10,000 premium. You will be the main point of contact for the clients and will not have an assistant. You need to be able to manage all parts of the renewal and assist with claims advocacy as needed. The client uses AMS 360 and is paperless. Microsoft Word and Excel are also used in this role. Once you have completed training, you have the choice to work in their office or work from home provided you have an efficient home office set up with good internet and adequate online security.
Hours are Mon to Fri, 40 hours per week. Overtime will not be necessary in this role. Parking is free if you choose to work in the office. Company benefits are also available.
Candidates must have previous commercial lines account management experience in an independent agency setting and have a WA P & C license. AMS 360 knowledge greatly preferred.
