My client is a growing independent agency that allows you to work from your home once you have completed training in their Seattle office. You will work with the Agent and CSR staff to learn the computer systems, Carrier rating systems, and processing processes. Expect to work in downtown Seattle for at least one month, Mon to Fri 8 am to 5 pm, during training. Once you are trained, they will set you up in an in-home office and will supply you with the computer hardware/software necessary to be a remote worker.

This job is a 40 hour/week, Mon to Fri 8 to 5 pm, or if you only want to work 30 hours, 10 am to 5 pm, position. Pay is $18 to $20/hr, depending on your knowledge of independent carriers and your insurance experience.

You will do service work for personal lines customers, and if you already have commercial processing experience, they will have you service small business policies as well. You will do certificates, endorsements, and other policy changes. This job is strictly service work. You are not required to sell.

Candidates need to live in WA state and have a WA P & C license. You must have a quiet and dedicated office space/room in your home that is secure for data/privacy reasons, with a good internet connection. Must have fast/accurate computer skills, strong attention to detail/grammar/spelling, be able to work independently, and be a stickler for follow up. Candidates that have worked from home in the past doing similar work are preferred.

Personal Lines Account Manager: Private Client Group

Are you a licensed personal lines insurance account manager looking for more a more robust salary, opportunity for commissions and paid benefits? Are you tired of commuting to Seattle or Bellevue?

My client is a large independent insurance brokerage in the Bothell area. They are looking to add another licensed personal lines account manager to their Private Client/High Net Worth Team. Depending on your experience level with Private Client Carriers such as Chubb/Ace, AIG, Pure etc, you will either assist the Senior Account Managers or will work directly on your own book of established accounts. The agency uses EPIC and is paperless. This is a fast-paced inside role with lots of correspondence over the phone and email. Computer skills and accuracy are needed as well as an ability to work with changing priorities and tasks. There will be some face to face client meetings as well and they could be in office or on site depending on the insured’s needs.

The client offers salary, commissions on new sales, benefits, free parking and PTO plan. Continuing education is also paid for. Hours are Mon to Fri.

Your day will consist of:

Service existing Personal Insurance customers, through building relationships, explaining detailed coverage and policy information and processing changes as needed

Quote new and replacement business;

Solicit referrals

Maintain client base by contacting clients, understanding their needs, providing each with a full account review at renewal time and suggesting coverage changes when applicable;

Provide quality service to clients and resolve concerns and conflicts;

Assist in claim conflicts between insured and company; claim counseling;

Provide risk management advice;

Maintain a broad knowledge of insurance products and underwriting guidelines;

Maintain relationships with insurance providers;

Background required:

2-5 years Personal Insurance account management experience required; strong preference for independent market knowledge especially with High Net worth carriers such as Chubb/Ace, AIG, and Pure

WA P & C license

2-year or 4-year degree preferred

Strong computer skills including, Word and Excel, Agency Management System desired

Ability to write grammatically correct business correspondence such as letters, emails, memoranda

Strong attention to detail

Ability to exercise judgment in order to problem solve when the answer is not readily apparent

Strong analytical skills, and ability to learn quickly; and ability to set priorities, which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities.

My client is a well-established insurance agency and has been around for 40 years. They are conveniently located in the Mill Creek, WA area and are close to public transportation. The owner is growing and wants to add an experienced inside sales/service agent to the team. This is NOT an entry level role. Compensation consists of a base salary (DOE) and generous bonus program. This is a W2 position, not a 1099. You will not be cold calling or going door to door. You will work with established policy holders, do account reviews, and add new lines of coverage as needed. You will be selling/servicing all personal lines policies: auto, home, umbrella, RV, boats, jet skis/water toys, and life/financial products.

This is a nice, family-friendly office. Hours are Mon to Fri 8:30 to 5:00 pm. This is a full time, permanent role and he provides benefits with a generous PTO of up to 160 hours in a 12 month period. There is also a profit sharing program.

Successful performance should earn you a monthly bonus of $600 to $800 or more on average in addition to your base salary. This agent pays some of the highest first year commission splits in the area across all coverage lines.

Job overview:

Personal Lines Account Managers are the cornerstone of the personal lines services team. This position answers all inbound personal lines service calls. They perform service work for customers including but not limited to: adding/deleting/replacing vehicles, changing coverage’s, adding/deleting lien-holders and mortgagees, answering billing questions, verifying insurance, taking payments, and handling other insurance questions as appropriate to service customers.

Your day will look like this:

Personal Lines Account Manager will handle customer service requests in a professional and knowledgeable manner. They will determine all impacts/needs associated with the service request, including impacts to other coverage’s or policies. During routine service contacts, they will also use their knowledge to identify any coverage gaps associated with a customer’s request and educate the customer on ways to mitigate their risk.

The Account Manager will document all contacts, maintain customer records and files in a professional manner, and update customer information as appropriate for accuracy. They will maintain effective and timely follow-up systems and verify transactions with customers. They will effectively utilize technology to perform assignments and requests. Additionally they will use knowledge of personal lines products, carriers, and agency and carrier rules to service customers effectively. Additional responsibilities could include drafting and sending correspondence, and other tasks of a service nature and other duties as assigned.

In addition to inbound service calls, the Account Manger performs service activities to support their team and their manager or others, consistent with the responsibilities outlined above.
