Job overview:

Personal Lines Account Managers are the cornerstone of the personal lines services team. This position answers all inbound personal lines service calls. They perform service work for customers including but not limited to: adding/deleting/replacing vehicles, changing coverage’s, adding/deleting lien-holders and mortgagees, answering billing questions, verifying insurance, taking payments, and handling other insurance questions as appropriate to service customers.

Your day will look like this:

Personal Lines Account Manager will handle customer service requests in a professional and knowledgeable manner. They will determine all impacts/needs associated with the service request, including impacts to other coverage’s or policies. During routine service contacts, they will also use their knowledge to identify any coverage gaps associated with a customer’s request and educate the customer on ways to mitigate their risk.

The Account Manager will document all contacts, maintain customer records and files in a professional manner, and update customer information as appropriate for accuracy. They will maintain effective and timely follow-up systems and verify transactions with customers. They will effectively utilize technology to perform assignments and requests. Additionally they will use knowledge of personal lines products, carriers, and agency and carrier rules to service customers effectively. Additional responsibilities could include drafting and sending correspondence, and other tasks of a service nature and other duties as assigned.

In addition to inbound service calls, the Account Manger performs service activities to support their team and their manager or others, consistent with the responsibilities outlined above.

What you need to have to be considered for this role:

• Licensed in Washington for Property and Casualty

• 3-5 years Agency experience; captive or direct writer okay

• Excellent communication skills; verbally and written.

• Detail oriented and able to maintain compliance standards.

• Must be dependable, provide timely response, and complete of work activities.

If you have experience as a Personal Lines CSR or Account Manager and you want to work in Kirkland on Lake WA, my client wants to talk to you.

You will be handling about 1000 policies for an established book of business. The agency is growing and this is a brand new role. They are on EPIC and are paperless. You will be doing renewals, daily service, handling billing and claims issues and rounding out accounts.

You will be paid a salary and commission on new business that you write. This is a service role NOT a cold call sales role. You will be working with producers who are not in the office often. The majority of the clients are located in the Puget Sound area. This is all personal lines business.

This is an office role, Mon to Fri, full time. They have a fun work culture and a great deck overlooking Lake WA.

Candidates need to have a WA P & C license, be knowledgeable in the use of Ezlynx and independent carrier markets such as Safeco, Pemco, Travelers, Hartford, Progressive. Experience with Epic/TAM is a huge plus. Other agency systems are acceptable.

High Net Worth Insurance Junior Account Manager

If you have your P & C license and a couple of years working as an account manager at an independent agency and feel like you would like to start working with High Net worth Clients in a more consultative role, my client would like to talk to you!

My client is an independent insurance agency in downtown Seattle, WA. They have an excellent reputation for handling their clients with velvet gloves and being a trusted advisor, not just a pushy sales person. Many of their Personal Lines clients also insure their businesses with the firm. These are prized VIP clients that expect 1st class service and attention to detail at all times.

This book of business is their “small” accounts book. Premiums will be up to $10,000/year on average. You will be doing account reviews to make sure that their risk program has no gaps in coverage, adequate policy limits, and is current with their scheduled property and vehicles. The job will be a mix of in-house and some face to face client meetings to do account reviews. Goal is to round out the account and help to develop a solid risk strategy making sure that all property is covered especially unique items such as art and jewelry. You will also handle daily service requests such as certs and endorsements.

The agency uses AMS360 and is paperless. Proposals are done with MS office. This is a Mon to Fri full time permanent role with full benefits, ORCA card, and they are right on the bus line. The office dresses professionally, not in jeans.

Candidates need to be extremely accurate, fast on the computer, able to communicate clearly without errors in writing and on the phone, and be able to retain info to quickly prioritize as needed. A WA P & C license is required.

My client is a direct writer insurance agency located in Puyallup. They have been in business for 35 years and have had steady growth and low turnover. They have built the agency on referrals and excellent service. They are looking to an experienced insurance service/sales associate to work an alpha-split book of existing customers. You will do daily servicing, quote new business, follow up on renewals, send out billing, and round out existing accounts.

The office is lively, friendly, and you will have your own private office. There is a nice break room and free parking. The company offers a good salary, bonus plan which averages about $400/mo, contests, and a generous retirement program. This is a place you can retire from! They are also very flexible with scheduling and time off for family or personal needs. Hours are Mon to Fri 8:30 to 5 pm. No weekends are required.

The company desires candidates who have at least their P & C insurance licenses, L & D is a huge plus, or have independent insurance agency experience, a positive attitude, good computer skills, and solid work ethic. The agency prefers to hire candidates who live in the East Pierce County/Tacoma area.
