My client’s insurance agency is located in the South Bellevue/Factoria area. This is an established agency with a book of established clients. You will be in an inside sales role where you will be selling life and other financial products along with P & C policies. Leads will come from cross selling existing customer accounts, self-generated referrals as well as calling from purchased lead lists. The goal of this role is to become the financial and life specialist for the office. You are a trusted advisor to the client. This is not a pushy, cold call sales role. You are there to help educate the customer on the many different products that are available to them as they experience life milestones: starting a family, buying their first home, starting a small business, or starting to think about retirement planning.
Compensation will be a combination of salary and monthly commission. If you are meeting your goals, you should make $40K to $50K in your first year, above average performance will yield more. There is no cap on income that you can make in this role. The client also offers vacation and free parking and very flexible work times.
You need to have your Life and Disability license and some agency or insurance experience. If you do not have your P & C license, you will need to obtain it within 6 months of hire. Preference is for all licensing to be completed prior to starting. Any Spanish or Mandarin speaking ability is a huge plus, but not required.
