This is the perfect role for a P & C licensed CSR that wants to work Part Time in a permanent long-term capacity.

You will be assisting the team Mon to Fri from 9 am to 1 pm. The office is in Puyallup, WA and has great views of Mount Rainer. This is an independent insurance agency that is extremely well-established and enjoys a ton of local referral business. They are in a modern office with free parking. The work culture is friendly, easy going and low stress. Note: this is NOT a work from home or remote position.

You will handle service requests on a wide variety of personal lines including home, auto, boat, teens, and toys. You will be working on a well-established book of clients who are used to the “personal touch”. Most have been customers of the agency for many years. The agency uses Hawksoft and Microsoft Office 2013.

Background needed: WA P & C license, past experience working in an insurance agency. Any knowledge of Pemco and Progressive is a huge plus! Good computer skills with ability to learn new systems is a must along with a customer centric attitude.

This is a customer account manager role. You will be working with established preferred business accounts. You will begin as an Assistant which will give you the skills and additional insurance knowledge to manage your own accounts in the future. You will support one broker who works remotely. This is an entry level full time permanent role with hourly pay and full benefits. Hours are Mon to Fri 8:30 am to 5 pm with 1 hour for lunch. Your day will look like this:

Main Responsibilities

• Direct contact with customers as required to service their insurance program

• Accurate and timely issuance of certificates of insurance

• Management of policy information

• Processing endorsements and change requests

• Billing

• Ordering loss runs

• Preparing auto ID cards

• Other clerical tasks as required by the Account Manager or Account Executive

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree preferred

• 1-3 years of insurance industry experience related to servicing accounts is ideal

• Knowledge of insurance and/or brokerage business and an understanding of principles and processes of business management preferred

• If unlicensed, you must obtain insurance license within 60 days of hire and retain license by meeting continuing education requirements

• Expertise in personal computer skills with knowledge of Excel and Word expected, prior experience working in a paperless environment preferred
