If you have experience working at an independent insurance agency as a Personal Lines Account Manager/CSR and you only want to work part time on a permanent basis, my client wants to talk to you!
My client is an independent insurance agency that is well established and active in the West Seattle community. You will job share with another permanent Part Time licensed Personal Lines Account Manager who works 8 am to 12 pm Mon to Fri. Your hours will be 12 pm to 4:30 Mon to Fri. (there could be some flexibility with hours depending on experience and needs). The job will be a permanent PT schedule and will not have benefits. You will be paid an hourly wage. The office has a great work culture that is very family friendly. Parking is free.
The book is a mix of preferred customers and some affluent high net worth clients. You will be the main point of contact for all call-ins, quoting, and daily service work. you will also act as a claims advocate for the customer. You will act as a Trusted Insurance Advisor, not just another agent trying to sell insurance. There will be face to face meetings in the office with clients to discuss their risk portfolios as needed. The office runs on Hawksoft and strong computer skills are needed. You need to be comfortable working very independently without a lot of supervision. You also need to be good at multi-tasking as well as working closely with your job share partner.
Candidates must have a WA P & C license, have account management experience with local independent markets, and know how to quote/navigate in their respective Carrier systems. Safeco knowledge is a must!
Candidates need to live a reasonable commute distance from West Seattle. Out of state candidates will be considered if they are P & C licensed, able to start within the next 30 days, and are already in process of moving to the Seattle area.
No entry level candidates will be considered for this role.
